Anatomical Course of the Inferior Alveolar Nerve and Lingual Nerve Diagram

Inferior alveolar nerve (V3 branch) enters mandibular foramen, runs in canal supplying lower teeth, exits as mental nerve for chin/lower lip; lingual nerve (also V3) supplies anterior tongue sensation/floor of mouth, carrying chorda tympani taste fibers.
