Human Urinary System Diagram Image
What is a Urinary System Diagram? Urinary system diagrams are illustrations of the urinary system, also referred to as the renal system. The urinary system, at a high level, contains two kidneys, two ureters, a urethra, and a bladder. The urinary system is located directly below the rib cage.

They remove urea – a waste product formed by the breakdown of proteins – from the blood through filtering units called nephrons. A normal, healthy bladder can hold up to 16 ounces (almost half a liter) of urine comfortably for 2 to 5 hours.
